  After reading reviews we thought we'd pop in today to try the " Mexican battered " chips , was totally disappointed ..... asked for cheesey Mexican battered chips to be told " sorry no cheese " so just opted for the Mexican battered chips , mini fish and pot of curry , asked for drinks to be told they only had what was in fridge ( hot day ) all there was were a couple Pepsi max , tango and 1 bottle of water ! The staff seemed to be all over the place ( only 3 customers in shop) When we finally got our food the chips didn't taste any different from normal battered chips and the fish was a little greasy for my liking the only good point was that they were piping hot. Will defiantly be giving one of the other chip shops a try next time.

  i got recommended this chippy by a friend and he said it was good for the portions when i got there absolutely no respect for the customers. they kept going on their phones and kept getting my order wrong. everything was overpriced. when i got my food the portions wasnt what i expected for the price in the end i had to pay for a bag fork and had cold curry sauce. Would not go here if u had £10. You would not get anything half decent.

  There are a couple of great chip shops in Bridgo' and this is definitely one of them. Plus points for the Seagull are the battered chips and the chicken kebab. There's also a seating area and handy parking if you're in the car. Staff are always friendly and the place is spotless.

  It's a functioning chippy/kebab house. It's not as good as the High Town Grill on Waterloo Terrace though
